Position Description
Advocate for the Sexual Assault Services and Information Program, Zapata County.
The SASI Program provides 24-hour crisis intervention and case management services to sexual assault survivors of all ages and their families.
The Advocate will provide advocacy services as defined by the OAG. These services include in-person and virtual assistance on behalf of survivors with employers, educators, health care professionals, law enforcement, prosecutors' offices, and housing authorities, in addition to assistance with applying for Crime Victim's Compensation.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in the behavioral sciences.
- At least 2 years of experience working with families.
- Must be bilingual (English/Spanish).
- Must be available to work flexible hours.
- Must have a Driver's License and reliable transportation.

Salary range: $16.83 to $17.79 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.
